stop 3 Talinn: where the sun hardly sets in summer

apparently, the cruise ship's route was along the baltic sea. *look at the map, trying to recall the geography lesson i had errr 10 years back?* in winter, the temperature drops nastily and the sea freezes. and in summer, it'll be "sunny" almost all day long!

midnight sun? gaaaaaaaahhhh!!!
can you imagine how confused i was regarding the prayer time?

but i have to admit, it was nice strolling around the town at 11ish am as it wasn't as hot as it "should" be. and this small city preserves its thousand-year old beauty with the winding cobblestone street and old houses- very charming and classy indeed.

what we did/ saw in talinn:

#1 Alexander Nevsky Cathedral;
Talinn's largest and grandest cupola cathedral.

#2 Town Hall and Town Hall Square

...which we then saw women in their (daily) traditional customes.

the 3-4pm's sun was scorching hot!!!
...and i became restless :@#$%

we ended up hiding under the shade infront of a beautiful building with red doors. ok more like camwhoring *cheeky grins*

This place looks beautiful! You're so lucky you had the chance to travel around UK before heading back home for good and make more fond memories!
