my love for food (especially seafood!) is so much that i'm willing to pay GBP28, although ekonomi tengah gawat, for a plate of lobster noodles from Mandarin Kitchen in Queensway.
Mandarin Kitchen is renowned for its lobster noodles. the best lobster noodles in london- legendary lah kononnye. and honestly it's hard not to believe it, as (nearly) every table in the restaurant confirmed got served lobster noodles one.
the portion was BIG (note:L claimed bigger than those in Holiday Villa) and t'was more than enough for the three of us. we ordered the ginger and spring onion lobster and the dish was filled with chuncky lobster meat. perfect! *thumbs up*
the three of us were like hungry wolves, ready to attack the victim. cannot tahan to just sit and watch the waitress slowly divide the noodles and serve on our plates. we halau-ed her and let's dig in!!!

moi: so it'll be, "pakcik, nak 1kg udang bersize besar". like that one kaaah?

yessss, if u pegi kedai or pasar tu memang lah u amik and kasi orang tu timbang. yg minta by kg tu sbb my mum sometimes tak sempat pergi pasar for her restaurant. so she'll call the tauke udang/ayam/sayur to bring the stuff they needed la. heehehe. senang jugakkk especially bile you buy in bulk ;))
