how would you know that a person is the bestfriend?
do you declare it "we are bff!" to whole world? do you make it obvious by doing most of the things together - hanging out as often as you can and making sure that your life involves pretty much of each other. must you talk to each other everyday, updating your daily life from a to z. probably exchanging a friendship band?
*shrug* i don't know!
i never thought the status of a friendship would matter that much. i mean, as long as you acknowledge the importance of the dear friend in your life and show your commitment, love and care towards each other, isn't that good enough to make the friendship lasts?
14 years ago, missA got transferred from bbgs to a mixed primary school in shah alam. there she met missS. they were "together" - same school, same class- for only 2 years and then it was long-distance friendship all the way. from smssaas-smks9 to mrsm taiping-mrsm pc and now birmingham-london. although they are highly accessible to each other but still don't see much of one another. and not much of a phone call either; however long call for birthday wishes is a must!
but if you put the two of them together in the same room, they "click" just like that! they laughed and talked non-stop and at one point, they even managed to blurt out the exact same complete sentence at the same time. havoc giler nyaaaaaah!
*laughs* that's like the cheapest, effort-less friendship you could ever get, no?
so, here's to missyS - the funny, cheeky, and a very pretty girlfriend of mine *sorry guys, she's taken! you are one lucky guy, mrF!* the person that i can re-connect immediately without having any awkward, silent moments as soon as we "hiiiii" hugged each other; no matter how long it has been ever since we last met. the one that always get distracted, hopped on from one topic to another without completing the initial topic - and she always blames it on me for asking too many questions which then leads to the next topic! whateverrr *talk to the hand* and she's one of those i feel comfortable walking arm-in-arm; keeping me safe and gave the reassurence that i'm in a good hand .
she's definitely one of those friends that has a special place in my heart, priceless value that i'd love to keep for the rest of my life!
happy [belated] birthday, sweetie! love you always. near or far, nothing will change that!
