i just got back from penang; bloated and tanner.
mama got a really good deal from firefly - rm35 one way - and saved me from the long-hours bus journey up to utara. i'd call myself a regular flyer BUT somehow i do get the butterflies-in-tummy feeling when i'm up in the sky. especially when the plane encountered turbulence; terhoyong-hayang. firefly experience was scary in that sense, but apart from that everything else was fine. service was good and punctual.
it was my first time staying at tune hotel. and yeay, it was awesome! despite the small size of the room + i had to pay for the aircond, somehow i felt cozy in it. the bed was comfortable (and BIG!), shower was spacious and clean. you should try it lah! murah ohkay ;))
we didn't plan anything special to do in penang, so we just chilled and chilled. that involved a lot of food and deep, serious conversation. somehow i think i talked wayyy too much about wedding (...sbb i was excited for mrA&missyM ok), and maybe it freaked him out.
you should have seen his face when i showed him the ring with the 5-digit price tag attached to it. priceless, i tell you! *cheeky grins*
