after a super hardworking week (read: 8.30-5.00pm EVERYDAY; lunch break no longer than 30 mins. If i'm not in clinic, find me in the lab)... i've decided to take it easy throughout the whole weekend. stayed in the bed till matahari terang benderang dekat luar (though technically i'd found myself tossing left-right by 8ish because i can't sleep anymore), watched movies- He's just not that into you, The curious case of Benjamin Button and New in town (thanks to the online-streaming! yes, i am cheapskate like that. what to do, no funding for cinema. blergh), and tried new recipes.
although i'm not willing to spend my money on movie ticket but when it comes to food.... ahhhhh, always green light. hihihi. on this rare occasion, we bought 400-ish gram of squid from sainsburys. mind you, it's GBP6.90 per kg. seafood; a luxury item in the household and confirm lah tak boleh makan setiap minggu. no matter how much fish/prawns/squid make my tummy happy, undeniably it'll trigger a big hole in the pocket. heartache.
being an amateur on handling squid, i've decided to play safe and tried "sambal sotong" recipe. *drooling* my all-time favourite. when i was younger, i called it sambal cincin. why? i'd letak the sotong in each finger then ngaaaaaap! ha ha ha.
