Sweet Home London

"We spend most of our time and our energy in a kind of horizontal thinking. We move along the surface of things. But there are actually time when we stop. We sit still. We lose ourselves in a pile of leaves or its memories. We listen and breezes from a whole other world begin to whisper."
James Carrol

After a week full of hardwork, i've decided to treat myself with a 10-days trip to Ireland. Yeay!!! My initial route plan was Dublin-Galway-Belfast but unfortunately, i had to ditched Belfast and went to Limerick instead. I wanted to write about the trip in details but im bloody lazy right now and 4 IP notes are waiting for me.*perasan konon ade org nak bacalah. ngehehe...* So i'm gonna make it short, simple and sweet.

Galway trip was full of beautiful sceneries. We took 2 of the day tour; Cliff of Moher and Connemara&Kylemore Abbey. I bet the view on top of the cliff would have been better if it wasnt cloudy, windy and raining. Shishhhh talking about one of those pms days. Nevertheless, mujid and i had a great time on the second day...the sun was so bright and we used the chance to picnic at Victorian Walled Garden. A very pleasent view indeed :) On one of the evenings, amira and i cycled to Salt Hill.We cycled all the way to the firehouse. Cool ey? I wanted to stay and watch the sun sets but errr, i didnt wear thick enough that time. Sayang kan...?Next time next time. Insyallah.

I always thought Limerick is a rural part in Ireland but it seems like it has a bigger town compared to Galway. Definitely has more choices than Galway lar. ngehehhe :P More time was spent chilling out with the hosts; Kak Kina and Farhad. The only place we visited was Adare. hehehe...We watched 3 movies from farhad's huge plasma tv; Pride&Prejudice, Ungu Violet and Memoirs of a Geisha. We 'dihiburkan' dengan kerenah kak kina and farhad yang dok asyik menyakat antara satu sama lain. And we even cooked together (hmm actually they took turn to cook while i makan jer...nyahnyahnayh!). The best dish would be abu's special char kuey teow....sgt best!I liiikeee! And abu masak dgn penuh bergaya *huehuehue I bet abu 'kembang' if he reads this!*

Dublin was my first and final destination. Small city+ you walk from one place to another+the price (hmm) i sooo rase London lagi murah!!!! Psychological price; thats what mujid said. Didnt have enough time to tour Dublin sepenuhnya. I only managed to see Trinity College, RCSI, St Stephan's Green, canal, bridges and St Patrick Cathedral. Hmm a good excuse to tell mama why i need to go to Dublin again, kan mujid? ;) The best thing about Dublin trip would be the company of mujid's friends. I met amir, sheila, boy&miza, fadhli&nisa, gemoi, kirin, biskut and abu. Did i missed anyone?*icon berfikir* They had makan-makan thingy on the day i reached dublin. Bukanlah untuk i jer....salad and adik were there too. Anyhow, i still nak cakap,"So schweet la korang!" hehhehee...i liikee the nasi lemak, i cinta the roti jala and i luff the dessert nisa buat! It could have been better if takde nescafe though ;)
