so nooooooot, ohkay!!! *pout*
it's just that, due to mr.bofwen's demanding workloadshits, we came to afif&mar's wedding late. i mean super duper late. unforgivenly late.
yesss, they were already cleaning the hall. pengantins getting ready for the outdoor photoshoot- which explained the i-am-the-bride-with-the-handbag-on-my-hand photo.
anyway, their wedding reception was held at wisma pkps, shah alam. initially mama and abah were all set to have mine there as well, just like along. but ahmagaaaaad, their wedding package dah naik harga now!!!! it is rm60,000 all inclusive. *fainted*
with that price, i might as well just have my reception in a hotel. reason being, they can only cater for 600pax for served or 1500 for buffet. even concorde shah alam will cost me rm830 per table. cheaper, no?
so forget it lah, kuzie catering!!! *waved goodbye, not turning back*
but finding THE PLACE ain't that easy tau!*headache* i nak ni, parentals nak tu.
requirement no#uno: must be in shah alam.
i'm okay having it done dekat rumah, honestly. but got no support from the familia :(( messy, so they said.
requirement no#2: must have aircond; quote mama. that's why outdoor garden wedding was rejected as well! and abah added, got nyamuk nanti tak comfortable.
+__+ "
riiiiiteeeeeee, nyamuk ek. *slaps forehead*
after much consideration and discussion with the parentals+mr.bofwen, we decided that there's no point spending that much for the venue. a decent airconditioned hall with tables and chairs would be sufficient enough. that gives us the flexibility to use our own favourite caterer. *thumbs up* yummy food is essential tau! and i can spend more+ have the freedom to hire my own wedding planner for the decor, to suits my taste and preference. and budgettttt!
alhamdulillah reception venue secured.*deposit paid!*
