first one for me after 5 years of celebrating it in london with lovely friends.

first one for him outside the womb lah! *giggle*

GREEN was our theme :)) the BIL hates it but what to do- his mother bought an utterly cute baju melayu for the little hero in GREEN colour.

ready-made turquoise baju kurung from d'rias with minimal beading on the chest and hands. i like the cutting- it fits nicely *suke suke suke*

we started our morning with delectable yummy breakfast which consist of lemang and rendang, nasi impit and kuah kacang and mee soto with begedil. i made kek batik as dessert and we had some kuih raya being served on the table as well. t'was definitely a BIG shock for the tummy to have all that during THAT time of the day. yelah, biasanya kan puasa.... hihihi.

...followed by the forgiveness ceremony + duit raya (green packets) giveaway ceremony. as i am still an unemployed dentist, i managed to escape from giving out packets this year. fuuuuh! and to brighten up my day, i received packets from mama+abah AND along+BIL with an extra thick packet as BONUS from babysitting babyF. *glee* syukur alhamdulillah.

(**i need to start telling myself that next year it'll be my turn to give, as i am no longer eligible to receive these packets anymore. sigh)

after all that, it was balik kampung time!!!

we followed the same raya-route like we used to when we were younger- abah's side in the morning and then rushed back to kuala pilah and stayed overnight at mama's side. and ohmygewd, traffic along the bukit putus highway was horrible!!!

talk about the amount of lemang+rendang i've nom nom nom and now happily resting in the tummy. *buuuurp excuse moi* i need to go easy on them though.... the skin is abit upset now :((
