slowly, i've fallen into a daily routine ever since i've enrolled into the FOC "how to be a good housewife/mother" fast-track course. the body wakes up, automatically, just before the big sister leaves for work and babyF then falls into my responsibility for the rest of the day.
mr.bofwen said, it's a good exposure for me! i get to practice before having my own child :O
in a way, i have to agree.
#need to "maximise" and do more stuff with my two hands- one side to carry the baby, while the other is to buat susu or heat up the food or even better, to sidai kain.
#baby is a fast learner. if you think the movie "Meet the Fockers" exaggerated where the baby kept repeating the A-word, naaaaah. you really have to watch out what you say or do because, really, they will learn the trick and apply it.
#baby always gives you the cue of what they want- crying means hungry, turning away or not opening their mouth when you brought the spoon near them means they are full, yawning means sleepy and berkerutttt means it's pooping time. you just have to be sensitive with all that!
#baby is sleeping = your sleeping time *snoring*
#be more observant on the reaction of the baby towards solid food that you've introduced. infants under 1 year old might have allergies towards some food so look up for any signs of scratching/ redness on the skin. recommended not to introduce new food every day-give a one day gap.
#raising a child COST A BOMB!!! the pampers, the formula milk, the clothes (baby keeps growing, need to keep changing clothes' size!) and the maid/nanny/nursery fee. waduhhh!!!
...which i then realised how much parents' sacrificed, money+time spent to raise us well and became what we are today! it's not an easy business we are dealing with here, ohkay.

i am utterly amazed on how powerful the love of parents towards their child. and hopefully, insyallah one day, i shall be prepared to carry that big task and being able to enjoy it in the same time. just like this.
