student no more!

landed in london stansted yesterday evening
felt awkward to write down "dentist" in the landing card
i'll stick to student-status for the time being.

although, in reality, i'm no longer one!
student discount, i shall miss thou. sob sob sob.
anyway i did some touristy-thing on my last day as student in london
last week; prior to the graduation holiday with the girlies.

first stop- the Monument.
it was built to remember the rebuilding of london after the Great Fire.

we climbed the 311 steps of the spiral stairs
to admire the panoramic view of the city.
(ohkay not THAT amazing...do it ONLY if you have covered everything else in london. still, it was a good exercise! hihihi)
entrance fee; gbp2.00 for student
**and you'll be rewarded with certificate in the end!
kaffeine was where we went next.
friendly people managing the cafe
cute wooden blocks arranged neatly and served dual purposes- chair/table
and the ice chocolate with vanilla ice cream was heavenly delicious!
(i wished i discover this place earlier.)
last but not least, went shopping along oxford street.
shops which offered student discount on top of the sale
=double yayness!!!!
