Berlin - Stockholm - Talinn - St.Petersburg - Amsterdam - Paris - Geneva&all around Switzerland

after all above, i am finally back in london. for my graduation, of course!

but OO-EM-GEEE!!!! the last 12 hours before graduation ceremony was madness. you won't believe what i had gone through- super duper stressful! the risk i've taken for buying the very last flight back to london.

there were 3 flights heading to london - stansted airport, luton airport and gatwick airport. unlucky us, that only our plane decided not to proceed back to london on that night, whereas the rest 2 flights (which was latter than ours!) flew off from geneva airport and made their way to london. O__o

we all went panicked!!! rushed to the customer service to book the first flight out on the next morning. que was oh-my-freaking-looooooong!!!

i went beserk!!! i throw tantrum (poor parental unit!) and i even scolded the guy behind the counter that he refered me to his manager. the manager informed me that it is impossible for us to be back in london the day after- all flights were fully booked! *cue to cry* there wasn't much that they can do :( ok, now i'm bawling my eyes out!

what did we do next?

instead of taking the hotel voucher and ticket transfer, we decided to overnight in the airport so that we could be put on the standby-list for the first flight early in the morning of the next day. sleeping in a seating position, wearing the already-worn-for-whole-day outfit and being stranded at the airport abroad -all those happening less than 24hours prior to my graduation- my patience was tested up to its maximum limit already.

...at some point, i actually consoled myself that it was okay not to attend the graduation of my first degree. i mean, for god sake, it was just about walking up the stage to shake hand with some random smart-person and give your best, widest smile to the photographer. no?

alhamdulillah, in the end of the day, all of us made it to my graduation ceremony! *chicken dance* thanks to mama and abah who were willing to go as far as purchasing a 312swissfranc flight ticket so that, at least, i could attend my own graduation.
and most important of all, thank you ALLAH for making it happened- for giving me the chance to actually be back in london on time. one of those important days in my life that i will definitely remember for the rest of my life.
