100% compensation

i don't think i've mentioned before that i, along with a lot of people including mr.bofwen, got stranded god-knows-where on our way back from edinburgh to london last winter holiday.

kononnye wanted to try something new, and so i bought two tickets for
ScotRail's Caledonian Sleeper train. it's an overnight train and the tickets were so bloody expensive! i don't feel like the bank account wasn't happy of spending that much money for the sleeping berths, thus we settled down for the seated sleeper ticket. 7-ish hours sleeping in a seating position doesn't sound comfortable to me but *big sigh* ...at least i've got him with me!

... and when we were already all prepared for the shivering-in-the-sleep business, we received the good news from the worker.
we were upgraded to the sleeping berths!!!!! woohoooo! *chicken dance*

as soon as the train left edinburgh waverley, we hit the pillow and zzzzzzzzzz....
until at some point, i thought the journey was too comfortable; being so smooth- no humpy bumpy at all! mr.bofwen was like, "giler hebat suspension train ni."

*cough*
apparently the train wasn't moving at all, that's why lah i can't feel anything!!!

basically there weren't enough power or some shit that the train stopped working. i tried using the google map to locate myself but takde signal please? grrrrrrrrr. and it was oh-so-freaking-cold!!!! radiator wasn't working during this minus degree celcius- i thought i'd die in the cold. nak menangis please sebab sejuk!

to cut long story short, we were trapped in the train for an extra 5 hours. arrived in london around noon, feeling famished. and all we got was this- a cup of hot tea and 2 pieces of scottish shortbread. right.

so i've filed a complaint and oh boy, ScotRail has the most efficient customer service ever! *thumbs up* they contacted me 2 weeks after the incident, promised me a reasonable amount of compensation as long as i can provide the tickets for my journey as a proof.

guess what arrived in the post today?

that's right! my Rail Travel Vouchers worth of GBP95.00!!!!!

girls, ape lagi! travel jom. whaaaaat plane? train is the in-thing at the moment ohkay; although i think i did promised myself that
that was definitely my last train ride.

if the next train ride got problem again, i should consider mandi bunga to buang all the bad luck wei!!!! +__+'
