it was quite random; considering the fact that it was only a week after sufie's death.
and, to be honest, i never imagined myself wearing headscarf that early. although along started as soon as she got her first period, mama and abah never forced me to follow her steps. they will usap my hair, asking me when will i start and they'll just leave me alone when i replied, "when i'm ready". ohwell mama pun only started wearing after she returned from USA for good. i'm gonna be just like that, that's what i told myself.
but when i was offered a place for mrsm pengkalan chepa (read: it's in KELANTAN = Pas = you-know-what-i-mean rolled-eyes), i knew i had to changed. if dulu i only wear headscarf for formal classes back in lower form (called it on-off), now i have to wear permanently- for every occasions without fail!
so i'm left with wardrobe malfunction all the time. pffffftttttt. i had to say goodbye to my shorts, three-quarter pants, short skirts, short sleeves top, and helllooooo longgar2, big clothes. i hate it....at first!!!
then i get used to it. no, not with the size "L" top, you silly! that one can fit another me inside, ohkay. i learned to mixed and match, which makes everything possible. from knee-length boot to short dress to leggings to sleeveless-top; there is always a way to wear them if u are being brave enough to experiment it *wink*
whoever told you that orang bertudung cannot be fashionable, they are so wrong lah!
i do realise, however, that my way of dressing up is not so towards the muslimah way. *shrug* i guess i'm taking one step at a time. trying to improve myself bits by bits as time goes by. insyallah.
