getting old

missyF is the type that hardly becomes the organizer in any of our get-together; she's more of a sidekick or what you would call a loyal assistant. unfortunately at the moment, missyH and missyA are away in southend. she got no other choice but to plan a surprise birthday celebration for me. on her own.

she tried but failed!
...because i was such a spoiler by being too nosy *cheeky grins*
hey! you can't really blame me, people.

i was really thirsty although i've dranked 3 glasses of water beforehand. we went to thai thai restaurant in old street for my pre-birthday dinner with the cousin. i love the ambiance - calming and romantic. the starters were great; chicken satay was daaaap and the papaya salad was hot *thumbs up* sadly our main dishes weren't as impressive as the starters - personal reminder: not to order the thai green curry as it is not as spicy as what a 2-chilli-sign should be. takde "kick" lah.


anyway, as i make my way to the kitchen, i was surprised to see a hummingbird red velvet cake with candles lighten up sitting on the table. i didnt see THAT coming! missyF lied to me that she bought only 2 cuppacakes. i was totally blown away as it's my favourite!


the only problem of the surprise was that the guest lists were still incomplete - 3 orang je ohkay in the kitchen that time!
oppssss.
so i walked in, filled up the water filter, and walked out straight to my room before i burst into laughter.
it wasn't really my fault that i'd figure it out a wee bit early, no? :P
