baby talk

when along announced the good news earlier this year, i was excited and thrilled by her pregnancy. but when i first saw her 8-months-old baby bumps, i got goosebumps! her belly was hugely distended; as if it's gonna burst. *laughs* it's scary but masyallah, i'm amazed. i was blown away by all this pregnancy business that i became obsessed with it. i watched it, touched it, waiting for any kicking/movement and even talk to the little one inside.

along and i were catching up on each other as we were driving back to along's house from the Kuala Terengganu Airport. and suddenly, he started kicking and kicking and kicking. awwww, is that a HI for me, sweetie? along thought it's probably because i'm a "new" voice to him, so he might be a little bit curious about me. hey, i'm curious about you too! and i can't wait to meet you soon ;))

the next day we went to Pasar Payang (the Central Market) where they sell lots of food on the ground floor- keropok, serunding, telur penyu; you name it! semua ada; and you can find kain batik, kain pelikat and tudung on the first floor. it was such a looooooong day and very tiring too. we keluar-masuk too many kedai as along was hunting for kain sedondon for a function she's attending with the hubby. oh boy, perempuan memang cerewet. tapi, pregnant woman is even harder to pleased. *massaging the legs*

because along didn't mention about any kicking throughout the day, i became curious and worried. why is the baby not active today? so i "knocked" the tummy and said, "hello, you are a bit lazy today eh? dah tidur ke?"

then i saw it - the tummy moved! *oodalolly*
supersmart kaaaaan? he heard me and so he responded positively. i even got a goodbye "kick" from him as well on the last day in terengganu.

dear baby,
you are due to see the world insyallah in less than 2 weeks. i hope everything goes smoothly that both; you and mummy will be in good condition and healthy. i can't wait to see you and i hope you'll like the bundle of gifts we've got for you. although you might need to watchout for another aunty as you've just kicked her from the top#1 throne. for your safety, she looks like this:


i'm very tempted to go back home for winter holiday to see you. how? should i?
