the thing about me is....i degil! *laughs* if i want it, then i have to have it. no matter how hard it is, i'll keep on hunting for it. i'll find my way to get hold of it. and most of the time settling for the second best is not satisfying enough, if you get what i mean.
hmmm, maybe perseverance is a better word for it. *wink*
what happened on last sunday was that i went out to buy some yen for the coming japan trip. as missyYH managed to changed hers with the rate 1GBP =150 153JPY, i would not accept anything less than hers. which unfortunately, susah gell nak cari please?
first, not that many money changers open on sunday *my bad*. second, not many money changer offers good rate; mostly 1gbp=144JPY which i thought, ohmygod ruginyeeeeeee! dang! but THAT was before i realised that NOT ALL money changers have yen in their collection! *headache*
so i spent 2 hours walking from tottenham court road to oxford circus to carnaby street to shaftesbury avenue to chinatown to leicester square AND retract the whole journey, back to where i begun - tottenham court road. how far was all that?
...takde lah jauh sangat, but still PEH-NAAAAAT ok! i felt more tired than all those walking i've done when i was out for my normal-6 hours-retail therapy :P
anyway to celebrate my success of getting hold of yen, i treated myself with this:
*cheeky grin* i know i know i'm not suppose to shop!
later in the evening i had my last get-together with datinI and bii as datin is going back this tues. for good. pffffffttttttttttttt. thanks for the treat; the food was so-so but i guess it's the company that i enjoyed the most. see you in malaysia, insyallah.
