i've been watching few musical theatre ever since i got here. and i have always been impressed with those involved in performing arts. the way they brought their "character" to life was just so real and somehow managed to influence how i felt after.
thanks to the west end LIVE festival (plus with DatinI's help), i watched hairspray with a bunch of happy friends last wednesday. and it was superb!*thumbs up*
as i was sitting and enjoying the show from the audience seats, i couldn't help but wonder what makes someone see THIS as a career? is it that fun, great to be someone famous? or is it just because of the easy money that comes out of it? do you feel cool?
...because there's certainly a high price to pay for it! their P-R-I-V-A-C-Y.
artists nampak mcm bimbo because of all the tabloid cover on their partying activities, wild scandals/gossips and everything that make them looked bad! but then, who can blame them for being caught in camera for every action they've made? they didn't ask for it, did they? *shrug*
but they've said, "there's no such thing as a free lunch." everything oso got price tag one. like this yummilicious honeycomb caramel thorntons icecream, it's 2 pounds each! daaaaaaaaaap~ especially on a hot, sunny day *slurrrrp*

this is my response untuk part paragraph 4...
if we have the passion then of cus, kita akan rs apa yang kita buat tu cool kot. tak kisah la pekerjaan apa pun. yang penting the heart must into it. :)
...and famous tu pun main peranan penting. satu benda yang leh dibanggakan kot... semua orang nak jd 'somebody', and may be famous tu pun boleh di-define as 'somebody'. so nak cepat jadi 'somebody', jadi la artist. tapi, if setakat nak jadi artis tapi kerjanya tak kuat tak da maknanya... :P kan? kan? :)
passion....maybe that's what drives us towards it kot. not eveyone is lucky to do something they like. sometimes org kene keje...because of the money payment offered.
and hey, ru pointing to some specific org glamour yg tk buat keje ke? ;))
