yesterday was an achievement *all smiles* went to piccadilly for the visa application and hopefully *fingers crossed* everything will be settled by next wednesday. yabadabedooo, one step closer! alhamdulillah.
but i tell you lah, it wasn't as easy as applying the UK visa last time. first, too many documents needed - invitation letter and schedule from host, flight tickets(s), letter from uni, 3 months bank statement with sufficient funding, itinerary of the whole trip, accommodations booked throughout the trip, photo and passport with the UK visa (yes missyH, the visa as well lol). then the lady behind the desk kept on asking me "weird-but-in-a-funny-kinda-way" questions.
#Question 1
L: Is this (pointing at "binti" on my passport) part of your name?
M: uhmm in our country, that means the daughter of...
L: Are you sure this is not part of your name?
M: (monologue dalaman: wth of courselah, i'm 23 years old and still counting. takkanlah nama sendiri pun tak tau. sigh) yes, maam. i'm very sure of that.
L: (staring at me; kurang yakin with my answer)
#Question 2
L: I need your personnal trip itinerary (passed me a piece of paper)
M: (scribble scribble scribble)
L: Don't you have anymore details apart from this?
M: huh? (blank face)
L: like what are you going to see there? (pointing at one of the cities written)
M: uhmm everything? (-__-")
one thing i've learned from yesterday is to print everything related to the trip; sumpah it saves your time just incase you need it lah. if you don't, ala...takde lah berat sangat pun. tak rugi! i bet mama can handle it better; always come prepared. she's a superwoman with poket doraemon - semua pun ada, semua pun boleh buat! rofl. unlike us, who came 0.05% unprepared had to explore piccadilly area in order to find computer+printer. so incase any of you happen to be in our position, search no more. trocadero is your answer *laughs*
to celebrate our success, we went kulu kulu-ing. we can't resist the temptation of the scrumptious salmon-avocado-prawn tempura roll. so we had 2 rolls each. oooh yes, i loike ;))
