the last 48 hours were possibly the most tiring hours of my life.
from the torturous "i-felt-stoopid" anatomy pract to 5 hours of video compiling to choc. truffle cheesecake to even more practical to collection of visa to BATLAA award grant to choc. chip cookies to jpa dinner to Edgware for some yummilicious,homebaked white choc+strawberry muffins especially by datinI to another saturday well-spent in the kitchen. on top of that, i only had 4 hours of sleep last night.
peh-naaaaat!
...sometimes i wonder if i'm too old for these social, bonding events that they are tiring me out? *shrug*
maybe it's due to the fact that we're feeding the "big family" with a small number of main cooks. missyH and i came up with the idea and dragged missyF into the lets-feed-40plus-tummies cooking nightmare. yes, kami memang bercita-cita tinggi and sangat positive. lol. with limited budget in hand, we are sooo dead. me, being the miss worry-er PLUS missyF being the miss pemurah hati nearly fell for the scheme "makanan mcm tak cukup je ni. tutup mata, bayar aje, we tanggung senyap2 lah". luckily missyH, thekurang pemalu brave one, decided to kenyit mata and get more sponsorship for the event.

organizing makan-makan event can be quite stressful, in certain ways. besides worrying whether got enough food or not for the guests, i'm worried if the foods are not good enough, not up to their standard and "tak laku". luckily there's one thing that i can definitely get my mind off- the number of attendance! sbb being abroad, siapa yang tak suke makan for FREE kan? *laughs* so yeay! thanks for coming people! thanks for clearing up the food; at least i know where all the efforts and hard work have gone to *giggle* and many thanks especially to my hot cooks - we did it! we had quite a number of food spread on the table. but of course we managed to do it all with a little help from our friends ;))

...coz it's less than 12 months to final bds exams *yikes*
