in this world; you live your life, i live my life. we get different things, we lose different things. pendek cerita, everyone is struggling to survive in this world with whatever they have *shrug*
i saw her as i walked down the stairs in tottenham court road tube station. she was holding the sign "i'm hungry. please help me, if you don't mind. thank you." her eyes looked sad and tired. i rubbed the tummy; still feeling super full. tried to recall what i've eaten so far - yummilicious halal crispy aromatic duck with rice from inn noodle@bayswater and sweetened beancurd from TPT@chinatown. and i'm on my way for a picnic at vic park with krispy kreme donuts in my hand. i am never really bothered with beggers (because once i saw in rome, die minta sedekah then die beli kfc. then die minta sedekah balik. like what the fish? kfc not cheap ok!). tapi orang-orang tak cukup makan ni sangat kesian ok *sigh* i wished i have bought more krispy kreme from tesco just now... *pout*
i told myself; be grateful with what you have. alhamdulillah.
then i was on my way back to floyer when i bumped into him. he wanted us to guide him to the fish&chips shop. along the way, i couldn't help but wonder how does it feel to be blind? what make you think it is worth living a life full of darkness, no images and not knowing what lies around you? if i were him, i would be scared to death. tergapai-gapai kot! and then i remembered the beautiful things i've seen throughout the day - blue sky with white clouds from the millenium bridge, happy faces of friends and the green scenery at the park.
i told myself again; be grateful with what you have. alhamdulillah.
