jangan lupakan

5 days in the giler-glorious-gastronomic-greece *rubs the tummy*

5 girls and 1 guy *sorry you kene bully, misterG. peace*
we came. we saw. we left our footprints behind. brought back the memories.

here's the 5 + 1 things i've learnt, seen and tasted in Greece...

#1 bread; always being served on the table.spread some meze on it...yummy! my favourite would either be tzatziki or melitzanosalata (eggplant salad). fish roe salad was ok-ok lah. be aware that most restaurants charged you for the bread. and it's ridiculously expensive! one place in Plaka charged us 1.50 euro per person! i beli one whole bread freshly baked yang baunya sangat meng"drooling"kan pun lagi murah OK. blergh. i called that daylight robbery.

#2 wild dogs
are literally everywhere in town! luckily the
y don't kacau you. they just sat there, bermalas-malasan, sunbathing under the sun. and no shittos bersepah-sepah; unlike in spain. cool yo!

#3 seafood
; my saviour. *nyumnyum* small fish, shrimp, squid, octo
pus, mussels - everything you can get in the seafood platter. you can have it either deep-fried or grilled. surprisingly, most restaurants in athens don't really serve fresh shrimps and squids. so we took the full advantage of having it fresh during one of our islands trip; aegina. finger licking good, i tell you *laugh* oh, msg me if you want to try the best grilled octopus in Psiri! the BOMB!!! *two thumbs up*

#4
they just love their feta cheese and olive but it is a big no-no to me :(( tengsaidunlykeeeeeewwwwwww. and i think, if i add the amount of olive oil being used in the dishes throughout these 5 days...i rase can goreng bergedil for my soto kot! maksudnye BANYAK GILER ok! ha ha ha.

#5 greek's pastries and desserts
... i'm so blown away *sigh* from the sesame circle filled with chocolate to the everest's apple pie to the spinach pie to the chocolate cake. just the way i loike it! purrfect!

#6
athens is a pretty interesting city - the historical sites, open-air cafe/restaurants, shops mostly selling pretty jewellery and gladiator-like sandal! mau mau mau!*pfffftttttt* oh, i've realised that it's quite hard to tawar-menawar with them. tak dilayan ok! or maybe skill i tak cukup mantap mcm maam besar?
hihihih ni kene belajar dari mama ni :P oh unfortunately, the vandalisme rate in the city is quite high. merata-rata, bersepah, everywhere..... conteng sana, conteng sini. some looked quite creative though.... don't ya think so?

so will i come again? - definito!!!

but next time, it'll be the island trip. maybe for honeymoon kah? please handsome please? thanks. sile lah start kumpul harta banyak-banyak ok. lol. love you too, bofwen! *winkwink*
