London can be a romantic city; even if you're under a tight budget. thanks to the sunny spell , the park became the center of attraction :)) happy faces everywhere. people strolling in the park; hand in hand with their loved ones. a scoop of ice cream to uplift your spirit. good food and friends eating and talking and eating and gossiping like nothing else matters. snapping pretty pictures of the blooming, oh-so-colourful flowers. sigh. my heart feels warm and refreshing. and it makes me think of mr. bofwen. rindu *sniffsniff*
after the short free-vit.-D session with the girls and our tummies already filled with bihun, sandwiches, kek batik, karipap sardin, and fruits, H and moi decided to meredah the selautan manusia in Oxford St. we went to selfridges & co because i menggedik nak try Lola's cupcake; supposedly it is one of the best cupcakes in London. got the tiny version of carrot cupcake and lemon cupcake as our dessert after dinner.
H thendragged introduced me to the Malaysia Kopi Tiam; just off the chinatown. shared a plate of char kuey tiaw (since nobody wants to make one for me *pfffftttt*) and ABC yang ohmigod-banyaknye-kacang in it. the food was cheap and tastewise so-so lah, oklah for the price. but the ABC was sucky! i know that i am not a big fan of ABC and tend to be bias about it, but seriously this one is nothing compared to the one in Satay House. oh i miss!
the stroll in covent garden under the chilly night breeze, people watching, enjoying the magic show/singing perfomance by the street performer, lola's cupcake - carrot cake was good, lemon cupcake's icing was a killer sweet; what a perfect way to end a (nearly) perfect saturday.
and i wished you are here, bofwen :(( benci nnyeee LDR! grrrrrr...
