beauty in walking away

you know that it's time to step back, switch the drive-mode to reverse - even if it means taking everything one step behind; when you keep on going in round and round non-stop. clear the heavy thoughts. then probably you'll get better ways of tackling the problem. it will slows you down a bit, but hey "slow and steady" okay! biar lambat, asal selamat.... hihihi.

food therapy is the best quick fix for the frustration of friday the 13th. but it doesn't really work if the food is not good enough to make you go "Aaahhhhh I Feel Gooooood na na na na na na na", no?

the girls + surprise from manchester celebrated missy fashionista's 20-something (belated) birthday at Couscous Darna in South Kensington. credit to them for the pwetty interior design and (over) friendly service. unfortunately it took ages for the food to come; which finally made it to the table but takde lah sedap sangat pun. fine fine, the bread was nice though. but 2 ketul ayam served with couscous for 15pounds? that price for THAT quality? you gotta be joking with me. blergh! mahal mencekik darah ok. and the untold story behind the moroccan salad? don't ask! i left the restaurant with the i-will-never-step-my-foot-here-ever-again impression. soooo not impressed. haaaktuiiih.

thought of getting the red velvet cupcake from hummingbird but the que was daymmnnn long. tak sanggup ok :P followed the rest to Ben's cookies instead. yummy cookies :)) so soft and chewy but the white choc. was a tiny wee bit too sweet for me.
rindu famous amos laaa :((

on a different note,
can you spot the difference between muffins and cupcakes?

+cupcakes.... the prettier one with sweet, colourful icings on top, more fattening+unhealthy, light, extra-small size or maybe petite kot.
+muffins....the uglier version of cupcakes (lol), no icing on top, healthier coz normally it'll be filled with strawberries, blueberries etc, berongga udara but more dense, bigger, normally eaten during breakfast.

adekah?
