and sometimes a trip down the memory lane makes you feel old SUPER ;))
as i was flipping through kyuem year book to get T's address for the wedding invitation card, i couldn't help myself not to feel a bit sentimental just by looking at those pictures. it brings back good memories. flashbacks of things that i've done, places that i've left, and people that i am missing.
and somehow it makes me realise that...geeeez, i am ageing. i mean, we are all moving towards our best age in life. we left school like ages ago. A-levels done. university....some are done, some are about to finish and some have just gone half way through. while others still searching for their perfect soulmate, some lucky friends got married already or might be engaged. some friends dah beranak-pinak, dah jadi mummy and daddy. and most of my friends started their career pathway this year as well.
everyone has grown up. everyone has changed quite a lot.
from being dependent on our parents to independent young adults. from zero to fuyyooo in cooking. from a bizzare-looking bank account to a good financial planning (keyword: prioritize). from hoohaahoohaa-lifestyle to stay-in weekend. from single to double (err you may translate it in your own words :P ). from GUESS, Vincci and Seed to Prada, Gucci and Coach. from rebellious and emo child to a more calm and composed person.
but as we grow older, our parents and grandparents, are ageing too. sadly, they don't get any stronger like we do. their health go down the hill. they don't have the strength to do things that they usually do without much effort. simple tasks become a lot more of a struggle.

simple article but i was deeply touched by it. sad but true enough that they will leave us someday. but till the day comes, i shall love them with every breath that i take, every seconds that i have. afterall, we only have one parental unit in our entire lifetime.

i cant bring myself to read that article coz i know i will cry if i do
that's one thing i hate about growing up
its not how many years we breathe but how many years we live our lives to the fullest that matters~
wahh so sedih la. i mmg cannot bukak the yearbook la kan. nanti ill cry.
::ahui::
*pat your back* awwwww don't be sad ahui! it's part and parcel of growing up. and it's just a normal cycle of life. tough shit kan? sigh.

it is true that how many years we live our lives the fullest matters...just incase la i die before my parents la kan, i shall love them with every breath that i take. death is not only for elderly, anyone can die at any random time. one minute u tgh makan, the next minute u mati sbb tercekik. contoh la kannn.... he he he.
