seronoknya hari ni harijadi helen. that amoi turned 23, finally. so it's an excuse for the "dentistry-and-London city" girls to go out, dress up, catch up ( ha ha ha, not enough kah gossip tiap2 mlm dkt msn?) and have fun. relax, chill out and unwind a bit after all those hardcore revision sessions *winkwink*
anyway, the birthday girl was quite demanding with her birthday cake this time. kasi itu gambar lah, ini gambar lah. mau macam ini lah, macam itu lah. iskh3 :P nevertheless, i had fun "assembling" her ice-cream cake. it was marble cheesecake with triple choc+B&J caramel chew chew ice cream. covered with loads of cream and final-touch with fruits. i hope it fulfilled your request, ma'am ;))
for her birthday lunch i booked The Narrow; a gastro-pub by Gordon Ramsay . it's reallyyyy dekat with floyer. jimat masa travelling~yeay! the pub has nice view of the river Thames, but unfortunately today is a sad sunday. hujan hujan hujan. pffffft. the lunch menu has limited choices; it's neither vegetarian-friendly nor muslim-friendly. almost ALL food being cooked with wine. sigh. but luckily the service was really weally tip-top. the waiter (yg fatiha kasi score 8 out of 10) was really sweet and helpful to settle that matter for us. price-wise, it's more expensive than other restaurant but c'mmonlah, kate encik gordon ramsay punye . u pay for the name as well; i guess.
nasib baiklah my heak and chips with marrow fat peas turned out yummy :))
