Taking for granted...
that's what we, normal human beings, always Always ALWAYS do.
we complain. we whine. we bitch.
i was introduced to a stroke patient last week. she was young (only 23) and very pretty. when she is struggling to make a comeback with all the rehabilitation exercise, there are people out there who decided to terminate one's own life as a solution to their so-called-dead-end life.
i've seen patients with chest trouble that were struggling to breathe in. you see the pain from their eyes, how hard it was just to inhale a decent amount of air into their lungs. yet, we still smoke, and smoke and smoke all day long.
i've met a HIV mother who struggled to keep her viral load down to zero. why? she gave birth to a normal, healthy baby girl through c-caesarion delivery about two years ago and wants to keep on living for her. yet, there are a lot of the so-called-career-minded women out there who refused to have kids. or those yang buang bayi.
being alive can be troublesome, sometimes (i think!). all the stress and pressures and demands you need to cope with. all the decisions-making that you're left with. all the problems and crisis that arise. and all the dramas, shitloads from the unimportant-watak-sampingan that you need to layan.
people can be as pessimist as that. especially bile emo.
but is life worth living when you ONLY see the dark, negative side of it?
