Last weekend was d bomb! When YinHui and the gang suggested a weekender holiday, i thought they were crazy!!! I mean, berapa banyaklah u can cover only for 2 days kan? hehehe....i changed my mind now! I guess for small-small cities like Oporto, weekend sahaja is already more than enuff lah! Bayangkan...weekend sahaja, i've crossed the famous bridge for more than 5 times! If i stay there longer, mati katak kot i!!! Ntah ape lah nak buat..... ;)
Nwy, to those of you who dont know where the hell lah Oporto ni...it's in Portugal. The second biggest city in Portugal, after Lisbon. They said that if you want to have fun, go to Lisbon. If you want to work, go to Oporto. Shishhh, we didnt come there to work lah kan!!! But in a way, i think it's true kot coz we hardly nampak tourists time we berjalan-jalan cari makan :P I guess that answers the weird stares we got everytime we passed by the shops and basically everytime we walk lah! *I swear it's really awkward when people kept staring. Tak elok tauuu stare kat org!* But one thing yang i really have to give credits to Portuguese is that eventhough they dont speak English, atleast they tried to! Bukan macam snob French or ayam-itik conversation we had with Spaniards. NO!!! They really weally berusaha ok! Respecto :) Thanks for trying! I really appreciate that.....
Basically we didnt do anything much pun. I would say Oporto trip was the most relaxing trip i've ever had! Serious!!! We left the hotel about 10ish in the morning and came back about 8ish at night. Itupun we sempat balik for zuhur and asar prayers tauuu. It was filled wif loads of seafood and sweet-sweet desserts :D Urgghhh, if i stay there longer, confirmed episode caries pun bermula lah! kekekeke! Mana taknye, jalan jalan jalan...kiri kanan patisserie. So ngap masuk Portuguese tart, ngap masuk profiterole, ngap masuk benda-benda berkrim lagi manis dan berlemak. Gemuk-ness!!!!YESSSSSS~!!!!! lalalalala :)
::.:: Day 1 ::.:: Jalan-jalan the kawasan we stayed at and the city centre. Daki-ed a 200-stairs-high menara and watched the sunset from there. Cuns-ness :D Owh, Oporto banjir! and i saw 3 ekor babi panggang di supermarket....huahuahua!
::.:: Day 2 ::.:: Cathederals and museums visit. Walked along the river...coz banjir dah surut! Yeayness!!! Had dinner at an old yet glams restaurant. Service was a bit slow but luckily the food was not that bad! I had cataplanta fish i.e. a kuali filled with loads of different types of fish. Giler fishy ok!!! And owh, met waiter kacak di sana...lalalala~!!! Tapi malangnye dah kawin.... huahuahua!
::.:: Day 3 ::.:: A wet day indeed! Katak oo katak..kenapa kau panggil hujan??!!! huhu. Nwy, we went to the port wine. Toured the tempat buat wine, had wine tasting and watched foo&eric turned red mcm lobsters!hohoho...luckily none of them mabuk horribly! Had late lunch at this extremely slow restaurant dijaga oleh this old, degil orang tua! Geraaaam tau! I only asked for fries...i got it like 30-45 mins after that. Like wut the heck?!!!! But kemarahan terus hilang after we had those yummylicious gelato :) Time to balik rumah!!!
Oklah people, tuan puteri mahu beradu! Letih banget! Plans for the weekend would be entertain Shaleela who is coming down to London tomorrow and Taj's small hsewarming this Sunday. Till then, have a good weekend to all of you out there. And take care yeah?
