B A L I ::.:: Sepi ::.::

Bali is one of the favourite spots for tourists. Afterall, it is not being known as the "Surfers Paradise" for nothing right? They have alot more to offer besides the strong, big waves. During my stay last week, i was amused with their architecture. "Unique" thats what i would say! It's not just their temples. Even the hotels have this "Balinese touch"...hehehe, dunno how to explain it lah! Balinese people are friendly; i would rate it as over-friendly!Sometimes i think diorang menakutkan :P Food matter aiyoo...susah betoi mau cari itu halal food! The easiest thing to find is Satay Babi...hahhaa! Wanna try? *winkwink* And oh, when you're walking, remember to look down once in a while. Don't step on or langgar their "pembuka rezeki" !!!! It's their ritual thingy where there's this bekas made from daun pisang with some flowers, this giler-wangi scent, colok and something that you want to present to the God. I saw some people put biscuits, chocolates and even an egg. I guess to them, lagi besar you kasi the God, lagi murah rezeki you hari tuh....hehehe.

::.:: DAY 1 ::.:: Arrived in Bali late in the evening. So we just jalan-jalan tour the hotel. For a 3-star hotel, i found Risata Bali Resort and Spa as comfortable, convenient (sbb it only takes less than 10mins to get here from the airport!) and family-friendly.


::.:: DAY 2 ::.:: Had a long walk from the hotel to Kuta Square. Decided to walk along the beach sbb when we use the road, terlalu ramai orang-orang yang kept on giving out this card. Konon-kononnye lucky draw la. My advice would be DON'T YOU EVER TAKE IT!!!!!! Sebab once you take it, they'll start following you. Forcing you to open it. Then cakap u menang something lah. Then cakap this and that waiting for you. Suruh you pegi hotel diorang and bla bla bla. I tell you it's definitely a scam!!!!! There's no free lunch riiiteee???? Did some shopping at Kuta Art Market and Kuta Square. Had nasi padang as our lunch. Continue shopping. Seriously, i thought i've already loss my legs!!!!! Jalan banyak nak mampos!!! *sigh*


::.:: DAY 3 ::.:: We hired a car and "supir" to bring us around the island for 300000 rupiah. Started our day with the warrior dance called "Barong dance". Afterwards, we went to Tohphatti for batik. Rushed to the Art Market in Ubud. Keep note that once you've seen the things in Ubud, you no longer need to go anywhere else to shop. Everything in Bali can be found here :) Had our lunch at this bloody-cekik darah-restaurant called Restoran Batur Sari in Kintamani. The food sucks but the view....wow, amazing! It's an outdoor restaurant where you'll eat while enjoying the scenery of Mount Batur. Went to i-dunno-where for wood carving. Meronda-ronda di sekitar Sanur to watch the sun sets and Nusa Dua; the posh area in Bali. We missed the seafood restaurant in Jimbaran...but will definitely go there during my second visit.insyallah.


::.:: DAY 4 ::.:: Did our last minute shopping at Kuta City Centre. Again. hehehe :P Mama and i left earlier than abah...we went spa-ing!!!! Cool ey???? Sukha Spa gave us special rate; 300000 rupiah per person for 3 hours treatment consist of Traditional Balinesse massage, facial treatment, lulur and last but not least, mandi bunga. I felt fresh and clean and super-wangi sampai pening2 kepalaku.... I'm ready to go home!!!!


Thanks to mama and abah for the lovely trip to Bali. I laaaaafffvvvvvvv youuuuu!!!!!! *smooch* i've been merengek-ing about it since after SPM lagi. Finally, i got what i want! Thank you ma, ba! I guess i should be away more often..then when i come home, they will grant all of my wishes. hehehe...i liiikeeeeee *peace*
