Thats UNFAIR!!!

I had this question like thousand times."Why do you choose dentistry huh?Tak dapat buat medicine isit?" I mcm...huh?wut the hell.I still remember my matrix lecturer's comment on me getting the JPA offer for dentistry..."Ala, dentist je...ingatkan medicine" wut does that suppose to mean?You think so easy huh?Try la!Opps i forgot.How can she know how hard this course is.Die lecturer bio je....kot2 masuk pharmacy school pun tak lepas!!!ngehehehe...i am sooo mean!i know!Im in the evil-mode now *grin*

I always thought that dentistry is way easier than medicine.Less things to learn, just blaja bout the head lar...riiiighhttt?So why do we need 5 years just to learn about teeth?Iskh3...i was wrong!It turned that oral diseases can lead to other diseases elsewhere.And your mouth is the best place for microorganisms to grow.So things are not as easy as wut you guys think.We dont only learn bout cabut gigi je pls?

People always said that disgusting giler jadi dentist.Tengok mulut org.Tolerate the bad breath.Euuwwwwww!Yuck!!!! And one thing yg really pissed me off is that people see dentist as a second profesional career when actually i think it should be the same with doctors.Why?I can really list down 100 reasons why dentists should get the respect from the community as equal as wut the fellow doctors get.>>But i dont have time to do that now!My valuable and precious time should be use for something more beneficial like studying for my final sem exam.This exam contributes 30% of my first year and if i tak pas, i cant sit for mei exam!Kejam tak diorangg?????<<

Nwy, continue with the respect thingy....i think dental student works as hard as a medical student.Or maybe harder????We learnt alot more than them now (dah masuk pharmacology, habis cell biology during our first month walhal bdk medic baru je habis time raya maybe?). We've done alot on our clinical session(managed to check gigi fatiha..hehehe).And and and the most important thing is WE HAVE LESS HOLIDAYS THAN THEM!!!!!!omg...so tak aci!Why do they get solid 2 months summer holiday but we only get 1 month? :(

Nevertheless, i didnt regret for taking this path.It is a tough course yeah but u gonna have a very niiiceee reward once you start working.I mean, come to think about it...you can open your own dental clinic and have your own working time.Yes, no on-calls like those doctors :P And more income.I repeat, MORE INCOME.Wizcorek said, the salary of a dentist is min 80000 pound per year.Omg.Im so gonna be damn rich.Atleast, richer than those fresh graduate doctors!hahahaha.Sorry honey, didnt mean to insult your career.Takpe, duit i pun cukup sara kiter due!!!! ;) So anyone who is thinking of taking dentistry as their career...think no more!Bak kate pepatah, "bersusah-susah dahulu, bersenang-senang kemudian." I am soo dah giler now.gtg hit the books now.Cheers~
